National Trust Coast Rock Samphire and Driftwood Hand & Body Lotion review

Another review from my sister Hannah Freeman

National Trust Coast Rock Samphire and Driftwood Hand & Body Lotion

My first thought upon seeing this product was, what are The National Trust doing making beauty products? However, I was soon seduced by the elegant packaging so thought I’d give it a go! I was very pleasantly surprised, and have to say I absolutely loved this body moisturiser. The sophisticated yet delicate herbal fragrance of the Samphire and Driftwood immediately won me over, in my experience you only tend to achieve that kind of quality from premium price aromatherapy products. Most importantly, on application,  it felt light and non-greasy, and simply melted into my skin leaving my hands and body perfectly moisturised with no sticky residue.  On closer inspection I was thoroughly delighted to discover, (from the packaging) that this is one of a range of beauty products produced and sold by the National Trust (alongside The Icon Partnership) in order to create funds for the charity. The sales revenue preserves this country’s countryside and coastline heritage, including Exmoor National Park, an area  which inspired this product’s name and fragrance. So it’s wonderful to know that by using this product I can sumultaneously protect our breathtaking flora and fauna, as well as my own skin!
